I'm Lucky

Considering I moved here July 1st, I feel that I am so lucky and blessed to have all of these wonderful people who are so multi-talented and amazing come into my life. There was a point where I felt like everything was going wrong, foundations were crumbling right before my very eyes. I was so confused as to which direction I would go next. Confusion seems to be the name of the game since I've been here, but I guess thats what makes my life a little more interesting. Speaking of interesting...check this out

Some of Marie's Images

Intro: The Welcoming Committee

Verbal Vomit is made up of 2 smart and talented young ladies who will be sharing this blog to vent, rant, bitch, talk about music-men-school-jobs-love-sex,give kudos to, post pictures..etc, basically whatever the hell we want! Emily and I met in June 2008 through our ex boyfriends (right before I moved to Philadelphia). We were both in a weird rut and really came into each others lives at a good time. We pulled ourselves out of it by endless nights of partying, debauchery, and brunch -- from that, a friendship was born. Verbal Vomit was created so we could share our lives with others and benefit from it as a stress relief to talk about whatever is on our mind at any given point.
We are both young and on a search, a quest to find out exactly what we want in life. Our lives and the people who surround us will be mentioned in this blog, so if you are one of those people and have a problem with it, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Love at first sight

The Spider's Web

The spider, dropping down from twig,
Unfolds a plan of her devising,
A thin premeditated rig
To use in rising.

And all that journey down through space,
In cool descent and loyal hearted,
She spins a ladder to the place
From where she started.

Thus I, gone forth as spiders do
In spider's web a truth discerning,
Attach one silken thread to you
For my returning.
